Scatter Penny, the star of this year's 100 Club, will have her first taste of the all weather debut at Southwell on Thursday. The daughter of Elarqam won her first two races, recording victories at Nottingham and Pontefract, and will bid for a third win of her juvenile season in the seven furlong 'Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Nursery Handicap' over seven furlongs. Scatter Penny has been drawn in stall number six of the eight horses who have been declared for the Class 4 contest. The Karl Burke trained Qaseem, rated 82, takes top weight. Joanna Mason, who has been successful twice aboard Scatter Penny, has been booked to ride. Scatter Penny will wear a tongue tie. |
