Making his 116th career start The Resdev Way defied his years to take the 'BetUK: It's Where The UK Bets Handicap' at Wolverhampton this evening. The son of Multiplex was winning for the 13th time in a memorable career which has spanned 10 seasons, having made his debut way back in 2015.
Owned by Nick and Paula Wright the gallant eleven-year-old was cruising a furlong out and hit the front in the last 100 yards to score under Sam James, beating the three-year-old race favourite Albert Lasker by a length and a quarter. The veteran was going away at the post and looked good value for his comfortable win which saw him returned at odds of 6/1.
The Resdev Way has now run 101 times on the flat and also over hurdles and in three 'Jumpers Bumpers' and earned over £80,000 in prizemoney. His versatility has made him a dream horse for Nick and Paula as he continues to win despite his advancing years.
