We kick off the week with a visit to South Yorkshire where Joanna Mason and Billy Garritty will be in action. First up is Biographer in the 'Myra & Stuart's 25th Anniversary First Date Handicap'. The son of Oasis Dream will have a chance to advertise his wellbeing ahead of a date at Tattersalls Sales later this month. A winner on the all weather back in January he's now five pounds below his winning mark and he'll be bidding for his first victory on turf. |

Carlton Freddie has his second racecourse outing in the 'British EBF Northern Commercials Your Local Iveco Dealership Novice Stakes' at 2.27. He's a homebred and the second foal of multiple winning stayer Arrowtown. If he takes after his dam he'll appreciate some give in the ground. |

Last up is Beauty Choice in the second division of the six furlong handicap at 5.20 where Joanna Mason takes the ride. He's back from a break having last raced at Haydock in May. Already a two-time winner this year, he has recorded wins at Wolverhampton and Catterick and he'll act on soft ground. Beauty Choice is owned by a group of lads from Barnsley and he'd be a popular winner on their local track. The oddly named Wichahpi looks the horse to beat, whilst Harry's Halo has also been in good form and will be ridden by Sunday's Arc hero Rossa Ryan. |
