Yard legend Spider retires after 50 years service

Saturday 29th September saw Peter Webb, known to the world as Spider, retire from Mick & David Easterby Racing after over 50 years of service.
Spider joined the stable way back in 1972, joining his sister Brenda who was also working here.
Spider rode out thousands of horses and also took the horses racing before switching to yard work.
A legend of the yard, and we really mean that in every sense, Spider chatted with Alex at his retirement party and as a consequence we've a great collection of stories.
