Musical Masquerade rehomed out of racing

Five-year-old grey gelding Musical Masquerade left the yard this evening.

'Musical' has been rehomed headed north to Country Durham where he will be retrained by his new owner Lillian.

The son of El Kabeir raced under rules 11 times and also finished fourth in last month's charity race at Thirsk in aid of Graham Lee. However, he hadn't the speed to win a race and had clearly fallen out of love with racing and so his owners took the decision to retire him and find him something else to do.

We wish Musical all the best for the future and thank him for some fun days out and especially the £1,500 he helped raise for the Injured Jockeys Fund.
