A hot Friday morning as we exercised 25 juveniles on the gallop along with plenty of older horses. We were busy in the July heat as the works goes on in the quest for winners.

My Honey B

My Honey B was out early. She has been waiting for the ground to dry up and holds an entry at Catterick on Wednesday. She ran a super race last time at Chester and looks poised to add to her tally.

Le Beau Garcon

Le Beau Garcon is another horse who needs the ground fast. He runs at Musselburgh on Tuesday where he'll bid to follow up his victory at Thirsk. Le Beau Garcon is a very fast horse and he's in super form right now.

Desert Emperor

Desert Emperor was out for a canter on Friday before running at Ripon on Saturday. He finished third and looks to be returning to form. We seem to have found the key to him now and he should be able to win a few more races.

Yougotoshowmeluv

Yougotoshowmeluv is an unraced two-year-old by Bungle Inthejungle. Ridden by Billy Garritty he sported a hood which settles him nicely. He is one of several horses owned by John Blackburn with a musical theme, named after songs or well known lyrics.

Shimmering Sands

Shimmering Sands was pulled up at York last time after a bleed. He looked in fine order cantering under Eleanor Hollings. He's a horse who likes to be out early before being turned out in the field.

Moonlight Monarch

Moonlight Monarch has been off the track for 18 months but he's on the comeback trail. He's raced once, when runner up over hurdles at Kelso. A grey gelding by Sea The Moon, he has bags of ability.

Carolus Magnus

Parthena is seen here riding Carolus Magnus. He's not sparkled since joining us but he may run in the Racing League's fixture at Yarmouth on Thursday. We all like this horse and he's known as Carlos.

Mister Camacho

Mister Camacho has been off the track since last August. He was a winner in April 2023 at Catterick. The ground needs to be very soft for him to show his best. He's an out and out stayer and loves a slog in the mud. He's seem here ridden by Parthena.

Biographer

Biographer was a winner for Andrew Balding before joining us at the start of the season. He ran well last time out on his return to the all weather at Newcastle. The all weather tracks seem to be his thing!

Dartmouth x Falcon's Gunner

A three-year-old by Dartmouth, this filly is a half sister to Sam's Gunner who was a graded winner for the stable. She is a nice stamp of a horse and we may see her in bumpers at the end of 2024.

Dartmouth x Pepite Rose

Also by Dartmouth is a dark filly out of Pepite Rose. She is beautifully bred, Pepite Rose being a nine-time winner who also earned black type. She is also looking at a debut in late 2024. Both of the Dartmouth fillies were bred by their owner Mrs Hartley, for whom we've trained winners going back many a year.

Big Apple Jack

Big Apple Jack is a gelding by Mayson who has yet to debut. He's a big horse and he's been given time to grow. He's a horse we really like. Big Apple Jack is owned by Mark Hickling and named after a favourite holiday destination.

Keats House

Keats House came to us from Tattersalls Breeze Up Sale in Ireland along with Harvesting. He's the first horse we've had by Earthlight and he'll carry Middleham Park's colours. He's now ready to race and holds an entry at York on Friday evening. Neil is his regular work rider.

Laurens Dream

Recently named, Laurens Dream is a half-sister to four winners, two of which gained black type. She is by Advertise and will be making her debut soon. She was ridden by Joanna Mason.

Glorious Kitty

Glorious Kitty was ridden by Billy Garritty. A purchase from Goffs Breeze Up Sale, she made her debut at York when finishing fourth in the Listed Marygate Stakes. She holds an entry at York in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes and she's a filly we hold in very high regard.

What What What

What What What is seen here ridden by Billy Garritty. He is a very big gelding by Eqtidaar and he's owned by Tomlinson Racing. The staff like him very much and he's grown at a spectacular rate!

Harvesting

Another breeze up buy, Harvesting was purchased from Tattersalls in Ireland. She was ridden by Joanna Mason on Friday morning. Harvesting holds an entry at Catterick on Wednesday.

On Top Racing have done well with Two Brothers over the last two seasons and they now have a juvenile called Frankyboy. He is seen here ridden by Lewis Chalkley. The signs are good and Frankyboy's own brother Sondad was a winner at Ripon on Saturday.
