Le Beau Garcon heads to Nottingham on Tuesday where he will bid to follow up his Thirsk victory. It had been a long time between drinks for the five-year old who last won back in 2021 when recording victories as a juvenile at Redcar and Beverley. Le Beau Garcon had a wind operation before beginning his 2024 campaign and he seems much better for the surgery. At his best on good to firm ground we are hoping the track dries out a little before Tuesday.

Canon's House

Canon's House showed plenty of promise on his debut when third at odds of 18/1. He steps back to the minimum trip in the 'Yuasa Cup EBF Maiden Stakes' where the ground should be quicker than that which he encountered at Ripon. Canon's House is from a good sprinting family, being a son of Zoustar who was a Champion first-season sire in Australia. He's a half-brother to four winning sprinters including Group 3 winner Yafta who now stands as a stallion.

Ticktyboo, trained by Nigel Tinkler, is the highest rated of those with a handicap mark. He was raised to 75 for his runner up spot at Newcastle last time. Jack Channon's Caribbean Wind looks a horse open to improvement with two second placed efforts from his two races.

My Honey B

My Honey B was unlucky last time when caught in the shadow of the post at Chester and she'll be aiming to go one better in the 'Ferodo Handicap' where she steps up a furlong. The daughter of Zoffany was also entered at Beverley but with soft ground forecast in East Yorkshire we opt for the quicker surface down at Nottingham. Hopefully a couple of dry days in Nottinghamshire will help her cause.

My Honey B faces three last time out winners, with Atlantic Gamble bidding for a fifth consecutive success. He's won three times on the all weather and his turf success came on soft ground at Yarmouth. Andromedas Kingdom and Sycamore bring winning course and distance form, both having been successful at Colwick Park in June.
