The foaling season continues as we welcome new arrivals from mares Arrowtown, Desaray Girl and Miss Smartypants! The foals were born at Norton Grove Stud in early April and we'll keep them in for a few weeks before they go into the paddocks for the summer. Arrowtown was a multiple winning stayer for the stable and this is now her fourth foal. The daughter of Rail Link won races at Pontefract, Thirsk, Ayr and York in her 22 race career. Arrowtown's foal is by Belardo, winner of the 2014 Dewhurst Stakes and the 2016 Lockinge Stakes. Desaray Girl was a multiple winner for her owners and she has given birth to her first foal, by the fantastic Golden Horn. Miss Smartypants is also a mum for the first time and her foal is by Marmelo. |
