The Lee Westwood Syndicate owned Mister Camacho was an easy winner at Catterick this afternoon.

The son of Camacho romped away with the 'Happy Birthday Joanne Grimble Handicap' by seven and a half lengths to record his first career victory after some consistent efforts on the track.

"He's a dude to ride", said jockey Joanna Mason after the race. "He's one of the best. He deserved to win sooner than that really but it all suited today. I didn't even need to push. The wing mirrors are on order from Amazon".

Mister Camacho had previously been placed six times and last time out finished thrid after running a fine race on his seasonal debut. The fourteen furlong slog in the mud this afternoon was perfect for the four-year-old and he looks the sort to follow up when the conditions are right.
