Eligible ran out winner of division one of the 'Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap' at Newcastle this evening. Recording his eighth career victory and his first win at Newcastle apprentice Lewis Chalkley gave the son of Dark Angel a superb ride in the new colours of owner Lee Westwood. Lewis became the fifth jockey to ride Eligible to victory, following Joanna Mason with four wins and Paul Mulrennan, Connor Beasley and Adam Kirby with one success each. |
