Always Happy was a half-brother to the 1976 Champion Sprinter Lochnager. Although not as well known as his sibling he did have a successful racing career. Always Happy won as a juvenile at Haydock and then as a three-year-old at Edinburgh, Lanark and Ripon. He was sold to Jack Cann in Devon to go jumping in 1971. | ||
