Aldreth is a gelding by Champs Elysees out of the Ashkalani mare Rowan Flower. He has had an unusual career path to staying handicaps as he was a three times point to point winner, recording victories at Easingwold, Charm Park and Sheriff Hutton. Aldreth went back to running under rules at Newcastle in June 2016 and was victorious over two miles on his first start back and followed up at Musselburgh winning the Stobo Castle Ladies Day Cup. Aldreth won on the all weather at Chelmsford City in January 2017 over two miles, and back at the same track he was a winner again the following March. Aldreth was retired and rehomed in October 2020. |
