Storm Call kicks off the Monday action in the Jimmy Loxam Is 80 Today 'Confined' Handicap at Catterick where Joanna Mason takes the ride. The race is for horses which haven't won this turf season and Storm Call will bid for her first victory since October when she scored at Redcar. Due to the race conditions Polka actually brings winning form into t he contest, having scored in February on the all weather whilst Tees Aggregates has been in good form on turf and finished third on his last two outings.
We send two horses to Scotland where Carolus Magnus will be aiming to reproduce the form that saw him end a four year losing run last season. He returns to the course and distance over which he was successful as he carries top weight in the Tamper-Proof Handicap. Billy Garritty takes the ride against a field with very little winning form on show. Charlie Johnston's handicap debutant Viviana is an interesting contender and could be better than her opening mark of 65 suggests.
You Mystify Me is our final runner as she line sup for the Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Handicap. Second and third in her first two races she didn't build on this on her handicap debut last time and has dropped to a mark of 54. Again there's little winning form on offer. Wee Mary was successful on her penultimate start and may have found the ground too soft at Ayr on Saturday. She's normally a reliable sort and should go well. Golden Prosperity is on a winning mark and could be the best of the rest.
