We have two runners on Thursday. There's jumps action at Doncaster where The Resdev Tyke tackles the 'Virgin Bet EBF Junior National Hunt Hurdle'. Ten horses have been declared for the race with top weight with Tim Easterby's Smart Decision looking the horse to beat. Smart Decision carries a penalty for winning over today's course and distance in November, and was going well in second when unseating in the closing stages last time out. It's been a long time between drinks for Ring Of Gold as his losing run stretches back to November 2022. He runs in the 'Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap' at Southwell where he wears a first time visor and steps up in trip. Northern Cracksman looks the horse to beat as he bids to follow up his win when going away from the field in the closing stages at Newcastle last month. I Can't Believe is well in at the weights, having been raised seven pounds in the handicap this week but he gets away with a five pound penalty in this race. |
