Former yard favourite Roycano defied his thirteen years of age to win at the Sinnington Point-to-Point this afternoon.
Now owned by Susan Mason and trained by husband Ian, he was a game winner of the 'ROR and Jockey Club Veterans Conditions Race' at Duncombe Park at odds of 6/1. Roycano was ridden by Philip Lawrence, a work rider here at Mick & David Easterby's, who was recording his first winner.

Roycano was a winner of four Points before switching to rules and winning at Fakenham back in 2016. He has now added two more Point-to-Points to his tally since reverting to running between the flags.
