Crackle Moor made her debut at Doncaster in 1988 as a three-year-old. She won a seller at Ripon on her second outing and later won n the flat at Ayr and Newcastle, also in her three-year-old season. Crackle Moor also won over hurdles at Wetherby in 1989.

Crackle Moor will always be remembered as one of the horses we showed to Freddie Starr during his visit to the yard in 1989 when he came in search of a Grand National winner but we couldn't manage to sell him a horse.

Crackle Moor retired in March 1990 and later stood as a broodmare in Ireland and became the dam of four times winners Mistletoeandwine (black type placed) and Christmas Crackle.
