The horse we knew as 'Star' is settling into his new home in East Yorkshire with new owner Claudia.

Star didn't have the speed for the racecourse and left the yard on Monday for his new home in Cottingham.

Claudia sent us a photo and an update today and Star is settling in beautifully.

"He had his first little walk round the grass field today to see how he felt in the saddle before going back out with his new brother who he has settled in amazing with," said his new owner. "He has been so calm and at home in the stable too! He really made me laugh yesterday. I was making his feeds up in the lock up and I just felt a bump in my back, he had let himself in!"
"He'll only ever be loved and cared for with me! He has already made his presence on the yard and is definitely a favourite."
