Monday racing: Juveniles in action at Hamilton Park

We start the week with a trip to South Lanarkshire where we have two of our two-year-olds in action.
Valentina Bonita has had just one start to date, finishing sixth of nine earlier this month at Beverley. She contests the five furlong Moira Stein Memorial EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes where just six runners go to post.

Tim Easterby's Ponte Carlo is the most experienced runner in the field, and makes his eighth start. However, he's rated just 63 and could be vulnerable to Bryan Smart's Cyberspace. He ran green at Redcar last time when runner up to Blake's Monarch and should improve for the experience.

Youngheartsrunfree, Kompozitor and Justice Time have already faced each other and finished down the field at Beverley earlier this month. Youngheartsrunfree finished best of the three that day.
North Coates will be ridden by Jimmy Sullivan who was make the featherweight 8st 3lb allotted in the Rotary Club East Kilbride Nursery Selling Handicap. The home-bred son of Belardo makes his handicap debut from a mark of just 46 having finished down the field in maiden and novice races. We'll be hoping for improvement off such a lowly rating.
