Juvenile filly The Resdev Roman scored on her third racecourse outing as she took the British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes this afternoon under Joanna Mason.
Pushed along when clear inside final furlong, the two-year-old grey was eased towards the finish and won readily, beating American Psycho by a length and a quarter.
Owned by Nick Bradley Racing and Resdev, the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor was returning from a three month break having finished seventh at Beverley in the Hilary Needler Trophy in May.
A purchase from the Goffs Breeze Up Sale in the spring, The Resdev Roman looks a filly with a fine future and she'll be handed her first BHA rating next Tuesday.
