Doncaster's Friday card has been moved to a morning start in an attempt to counter the extreme heat across Britain this week.

With some areas covered by a red weather warning from the Met Office until Thursday, the BHA cancelled four of Wednesday's five fixtures with only Carlisle surviving.

Doncaster's fixture will now begin at 10.15am, with the final race at 1.15pm. This means that Lamlash Bay will now run in the Supporting Racing Staff Week Handicap at an earlier time of 12.45.

Owned by the Mick & David Easterby Racing Club, Lamlash Bay has shown improvement since his debut and will kick off his handicap campaign from a mark of 63. Lewis Chalkley takes the ride and will claim a seven pound allowance.
