Today's racing: Bust A Move over hurdles at Newcastle

Bust A Move will carry top weight in the acorn-catering.co.uk Handicap Hurdle at Newcastle this afternoon.

All eyes will be on the Grand National at Aintree on Saturday afternoon as we head north to Gosforth Park where the son of Ribchester bids to get back to winning ways. Bust A Move won two of his first three over timber and has also tasted success on the flat at Newmarket, but he's failed to make the frame this season.

Jamie Hamilton takes the ride on Bust A Move and he knows the horse well, having ridden him in four of his five starts over hurdles including when successful on his jumps debut at Catterick in 2024.

Only six horses go to post for the race in which bottom weight As Fast As Wind, trained by Tristan Davidson, might be the one they have to beat after finishing a close third at Musselburgh last time.
