As we prepare for the 2026 flat season some of our juveniles are being given their racing names.

One of the first named is Hope Of Acklam, a two-year-old by the late stallion Calyx. Owner Maxwell Morrison, who has had success with Spirit Of Acklam, again names his new horse after his home village and civil parish which lies six miles to the south of Malton in North Yorkshire.

Tomlinson Racing have also named their latest recruit, a two-year-old filly by Cracksman, who is now named Tommo's Queen.

Other juveniles recently named have been Restoration Girl (filly by Sottsass) and Get On That Baby (filly by Arizona).
