Home bred gelding Your Baby's Eyes today found his forever home after racing.

A son of Postponed, he was born with a slightly twisted pastern but after corrective surgery he made it to the racecourse and it hasn't impeded him in any way. We made a promise to Baby when he was a foal that if he didn't make it as a racehorse we'd find him the best possible home and today we were delighted to be true to our word.

'Baby' raced three times on the flat (Newcastle, Southwell, Wolverhampton) and once under National Hunt rules (Market Rasen) but didn't have the speed to be a winner.

Made available for rehoming, he was viewed this afternoon by Helen who immediately fell in love with him. Helen will look after him in his retirement at her private yard in North Lincolnshire.

Tomorrow morning 'Baby' will leave the yard where he has spent all of his life to date and head south across the River Humber to enjoy his new career.

"He will be sharing eight acres with a little play pond and amazing grass, haylage and hay, with my beautiful Quarry Rebel (Oscar) and my New Forest four-year old-brothers," says Helen. "They are still very playful so Baby will get to play but he will also get some adulting from Oscar. He will keep them all in line. I plan to let him grow and chillout over winter and I'll start his new life in spring or when he's ready. I'll know when he's ready."

We look forward to following Baby's progress and we know he couldn't have wished for a better home.
