Joanna Mason will take part in The Tuffa Boots Jockeys Challenge, in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund, at the London International Horse Show on Monday.

The event sees two teams of the country's finest jockeys compete head-to-head over a challenging course of show jumps, riding borrowed horses and facing the daring 'Tuffa Boots Joker' fence in a race against the clock.

The line-up includes former Champion Jump Jockey Brian Hughes and Champion Flat Jockey Oisin Murphy who join the Boys Team, alongside Tristan Durrell – who will be coming to the show on strong form following a superb win in the Coral Gold Cup Handicap Chase at Newbury last weekend – and three-time Cheltenham Festival-winning jockey Richie McLernon.

The Girls Team consists of Megan Nicholls, Lilly Pinchin, Gina Andrews, and Alice Stevens as well as our very own Joanna Mason. Joanna is in fine form at the moment and rode her 300th UK winner yesterday evening when 12-year-old Bobby Joe Leg won at Newcastle.

The teams compete on horses they ride for the first time on the day of the competition for what promises to be a thrilling climax to the five day event which is held at the Excel Arena.

Joanna Mason rode her 300th UK winner on Saturday.
