Five weeks ago we rehomed a lovely three-year-old gelding by the name of Frankyboy.
Frankyboy didn't make the racecourse and so instead entered our rehome programme where he caught the eye of Alex.
Alex has now started retraining Frankyboy and today sent us some videos.
"He's super chilled now," said Alex. "He's such a beautiful boy. You get out of them what you put in. Start them right with time, patience and understanding and they will freely give themselves to you."
"Frankie had taken to long reining like a dream. We're taking everything in his stride, we did mounting block training too, which wasn't an issue for him at all."
"Frankie had already shown himself brave," continued Alex. "I took him in hand jumping a 30cm course in the jump school the other week. Not once did he take a second glance, or back off. Just trotted alongside me popping over the jumps. Safe to say I was knackered!"
