Late Arrival recorded his third win of 2024 this afternoon by taking the first division of the 'N&L Franklin Ltd Handicap' at Southwell under jockey Joanna Mason. After racing in midfield Joanna miraculously found a gap a furlong out and the pair powered clear to come home a length and a quarter in front of favourite Master Dandy. "That got tight!" said Joanna after the race. "But I really have to say thank you to Jane Bedford for riding him out at home." |
