Spirit Of Acklam wins on seasonal debut at Ripon

Spirit Of Acklam made a successful seasonal return at Ripon this afternoon.

A winner as a two-year-old at Ayr last September, the strapping son of Cracksman won the 'Michael Foster Memorial Restricted Novice Stakes' over ten furlongs at odds of 4/9 under Joanna Mason by three lengths.
