Former yard favourite Roycano defied his thirteen years of age to win at the Askham Bryan Point-to-Point this afternoon.

Now owned by Susan Mason and trained by husband Ian, he was a game winner of Mens Open at Askham Bryan College. Roycano was ridden by Philip Lawrence, a work rider here at Mick & David Easterby's, who was recording his second winner.
Roycano was a winner of four Points before switching to rules and winning at Fakenham back in 2016. He has now added three more Point-to-Points to his tally since reverting to running between the flags.
