Calcutta Dream wins at Newcastle

Joanna Mason and Calcutta Dream won the opener at Newcastle this evening.

The Ifraaj gelding was successful in the colours of Ash Saha, taking the Cazoo Handicap at Gosforth Park.

Calcutta Dream, bought as a yearling, was winning his first race.

Joanna kept the horse in a good position throughout the 10 furlong contest and he responded well when asked the question a furlong out.
