Three-year-old filly Glorious Kitty, owned by Middleham Park Racing and South Bank Racing, heads to Essex on Thursday in a bid for her first win after finishing second in last two outings.

The daughter of Cotai Glory joined us from the Goffs Breeze Up Sale at Doncaster last year and has recorded three places from 11 runs.

She's now ten pounds below her opening handicap mark of 75, from which she ran very respectably when beaten two lengths in the Three-Year-Old Dash at Epsom in June.

Glorious Kitty raced off a mark of 61 when beaten a neck at Nottingham last month but was raised a staggering four pounds for finishing runner up, and she'll contest the Play Different With Betfair Handicap at Chelmsford off a mark of 65. The race conditions give our filly a weight for age allowance of three pounds.

Billy Garritty takes the ride as Glorious Kitty steps up in trip yet again, and tackles ten furlongs having been racing over the minimum trip at the start of the year.
