Rehoming

Adaay With Michael raced four times for our 100 Club but didn't have the speed to be a winner. He was retired from racing in June 2024 after finishing seventh of eight at Nottingham and we made him available for rehoming.

We were immediately contacted by Marie Deville and Elizabeth Grundy from Benington Bury Farm Stud near Stevenage where Michael was born and grew up. They were keen to take Michael back home to where it all began and we were delighted to see him find the best possible home he could ever hope for.

Adaay With Michael is loving life after racing

Michael is now enjoying life after racing and today he went to the Henry Cecil Open Weekend in Newmarket. There were several showing classes and his owner Marie sent us pictures and video.

"He was a star," says Marie. "He was seventh, but he was against much older and seasoned horses, it will all come together. It was only his second show and a lot of the horses were naughty or went on wrong legs, but Michael was perfect."

"He is a sweetheart and definitely enjoys being a show horse! When we arrived at Palace House he came off the lorry and just picked at his haynet."

We look forward to following Michael as his after racing career blossoms.
