Frankyboy, a full brother to our multiple winner Sondad, decided that racing wasn't for him! Instead of a career on the track he was rehomed with Alex Robinson in South Yorkshire.
Alex keeps us updated with their progress as Franky settled into life away from a racing yard. The pair have started out on a successful dressage career, but nothing beats a hack on a nice sunny day.
The video shows Alex riding Frankie on the Trans Pennine Trail as they negotiate Thurgoland Tunnel on the old Woodhead Railway. Franky is only a baby at three-years-old but he has no problems at all with the brand new experience through the old railway tunnel.
Thorougbreds are remarkable and can adapt to so many different activities and we love to follow our old friends in their new careers.
