Acrisius scored his second career win this afternoon when taking the second division of the 'Halliwell Jones Handicap' at Chester. The homebred son of Ardad came home two and a quarter lengths ahead of Over Spiced at the Roodee after Kicks had been narrowly beaten in division one of the race.
Acrisius is the latest in a line of winners from broodmare Aetna, who has also produced five-time winner Copper Mountain and also Ratafia who has won five races for Michael Herrington.
