We love a trip to the west of Scotland and we have plenty of runners to start the week.

Time Twister, a two-year-old by Time Test, will make his debut and become be our first runner for Ursa Major Racing. He faces nine rivals in the opening 'EBF Stallions Restricted Novice Stakes' and will be ridden by Billy Garritty.

Nippasso runs in the ten furlong handicap at 2.00. She's rated 52 and gets allowances as a three-year-old so can take bottom weight of 8 stone and seven pounds. Fellow three-year-old Hill O Rue won last time out and looks the one to beat in a race where few have winning form.

Keep Warm hasn't won since his juvenile days but he ran well last time at Pontefract and has chances as he steps back up to seven furlongs at 3.00. He's a very capable horse and his last showing gives us plenty of optimism that another win isn't far away.

I Need Your Love is another that hinted at better things last time at Pontefract after being badly tailed off at the same venue in April. He runs in the first division of the 'Start Your Racing TV Free Trial Handicap' where Jim Goldie's Abduction looks set to go well.

The second division of the race sees Knicks in action. He was a winner from a wide draw at Chester last year on his sole win for the yard. Jim Goldie again has a strong hand in the race as Bonito Cavalo bids for a hat-trick.

So Grateful was well beaten at Redcar following a return to winning ways at Thirsk. However, he has excuses for this run which was a consequence of a slipped saddle and we hope for better this time. He faces a field of 17 runners in the six furlong handicap where Billy Garritty rides.

We are double-handed in the 1m5f handicap with Action Pact and Fiftyshadesaresdev. Action Pact makes his handicap debut off a mark of 68, which sees him shoulder top weight and take a significant step up in trip. Fiftyshadesaresdev joined us in May and he's been unlucky not to win, being beaten narrowly on his two starts. His overall record isn't inspiring, with 35 outings without a win, but that statistic hides his consistency. Last time at Ripon he was headed in the last half furlong when he looked set to win the Ladies' Derby and his time will come.
