Honey Wax made her debut at Thirsk in May 1963. She won three times as a juvenile in 1963 with victories at Thirsk, Redcar and Edinburgh. She ran her last race in October 1964 at Lanark. Honey Wax later stood as a broodmare and became the dam of Tommy Lad and Prince Willem. In 1968 Honey Wax's King's Bench colt was bought by Mick Easterby for 1,250gns at Doncaster Sales and became Caxton King (won at Thirsk in 1969). | ||
