A remarkable horse, Royal Roseberry won eight steeplechases and one hurdle race. He made his debut in April 1978 at Hexham where he finished second. Royal Roseberry's first win came at Huntingdon in 1978 and he went on to win four times at Hexham, twice at Market Rasen and once at Wetherby and Sedgefield. Colin Tinkler rode him in all nine victories. Later in his career Royal Roseberry suffered an injury and spent a lot of time off the track. He made a recovery and returned after a long absence but didn't win again. Royal Roseberry retired in 1982 after running at Carlisle. | ||
