Gulf Of Poets was formerly trained by Dermot Weld in Ireland before coming over to join us at the end of 2015. He was originally owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah and when trained in Ireland he carried the same colours as the legendary Frankel.

'Poets' as he became known was a very good racehorse, rated 99 at his peak. He had a very successful career, winning eight races from 48 starts. He was a regular on the Yorkshire circuit, running six times at York. His career also saw him grace a number of other Group 1 courses including The Curragh, Leopardstown, Newbury and Haydock Park. He earned over £70,000 prizemoney in his eight seasons as a racehorse.

Gulf Of Poets is now retired from racing and is owned by Anna Tuer.
