One of our favourite horses at the stable is Refuge.
Refuge recently gave yard apprentice Lewis Chalkley his first winner and has now won six races.
He loves his trips to Hamilton Park where he's won four times. But his favourite place of all is out in the paddock where he's recently been putting on a show for Brooklynese, a lady to whom he seems to have taken a particular fancy.
Sadly for Refuge the displays of affection tend not to be reciprocated as Brooklynese usually turns her back and walks to the other side of her paddock.
Hopefully Refuge can win again at Hamilton next week and bring home some teacakes to impress his the girl of his dreams.
